Welsh Winter Skills Course Snowdonia
Join us for two packed days of instruction and winter mountain walking in Snowdonia, North Wales.
Do you want to extending your mountain walking and skills to winter? Then this course is ideal if you already have experience of summer mountain walking, but want to start winter walking in England & Wales. We`ll cover clothing, equipment, additional winter hazards, use of crampons and ice axe, as well as spending 2 days in the mountains of Snowdonia.
You`ll have the opportunity to put new learning and skills into practice.
Whilst the winters can be unpredictable, we'll make the best use of the weather.

£130 per person course only
From £190per person including 2 nights accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis, based on 2 people sharing or from £200 per single person
From £170 per person including 2 nights self catering accommodation, based on 2 people sharing
This includes all instruction and guiding by a winter mountain leader and first aider. The course operates on a maximum ratio of 6 clients to 1 instructor, to ensure appropriate focus for each client. Clients will require crampons, winter boots and ice axes.
