Improvers Scrambling Course
You are already doing classic Snowdonia Grade 1 scrambles such as Tryfan's North ridge and Crib Goch, but want to try some of those Grade 2's and 3's? Then this scrambling course is for you.
Once looked down upon by rock climbers, scrambling is now recognised as an exciting mountain sport in it's own right with plenty of scrambling opportunities across the mountains of Britain and Ireland.
Over 2 days, we'll take you on 2 great scrambling mountain days covering the skills and techniques you will need to continue your own scrambling adventures on the many great grade 2 and grade 3 scrambles in the UK. You will also spend time on ropework, getting to grips with the skills and techniques for looking after yourself on Grade 2 and 3 ground.
Our aim is to give you some new skills, some great mountain days and great memories from your 2 days in Snowdonia.
You will also have some great scrambling routes under your belt to get you started.

Previous Experience
You must have previous grade 1 scrambling experience, such as Crib Goch or Tryfan's North Ridge in Snowdonia or Sharp Edge, Striding Edge or Swirral Edge in the Lake District and should feel comfortable on such ground. The more grade 1 experience you have, the more you will get out of the course.
Course Price
£160 per person course only
From £230 per person, including 2 nights Bed and Breakfast accommodation, based on 2 people sharing or from £350 per person on a single basis
This includes all instruction and guiding for 2 days and use of all technical equipment, such as helmets, ropes and harnesses. You will need to provide your normal hillwalking clothing/gear. We typically work to a ratio of 2 clients to 1 instructor.
