At Seren Ventures we offer a range of activities to help your young people enjoy, learn and be safe in the inspiring mountains, valleys and rivers of Snowdonia (In Welsh, Eryri).

 

What can you do with us?

• Mountain trekking such as climbing to the top of Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales.
• Rock Climbing and Abseiling on one of our local crags.
• Gorge Walking in one of our stunning local gorges.

We can use these activities as part of your curriculum delivery or to achieve particular outcomes with the young people or simply as an adventurous day out to celebrate an end of term.

If you are here for a day, 3 days or a week, we can work with you to put a tailored programme together.

What about safety?

We are licensed by the Adventure activities licensing authority to provide climbing and trekking activities to children (under 18's) as per our licence. This can be checked on the authority's website here or by phone on 029 2075 5715.

The Adventure Activities Licensing Scheme is a Government sponsored scheme, which was introduced in 1996 under the Adventure Activities Licensing Regulations. The scheme ensures that those who provide certain adventure activities to young people under the age of 18 years, will have their safety management systems inspected. Where appropriate, a licence is then issued.

What about Accommodation?

You have the flexibility to stay wherever you want as we are not a residential centre . If you need advice or help with this we can provide details of campsites and hostels in the area. See also our accommodation page....

Please get in touch by email or phone and we can discuss what you want to achieve. We will then put a proposal to you and if you like that we can go from there. If we can't help you ourselves we'll try and put you in touch with someone who can.
